7. Rewiring the Brain

Hardwires are strongholds due to deviances/abnormalities in information processing and reasoning patterns formed in our brains, originating equally from nature (DNA) and nurture (parents, social and culture). Hardwires have formed in states of self-preservation as responses to fear.  Our biggest battle is to stop ourselves being controlled by the primitive brain and overcome its negative effects namely fears, anxieties, impulses and compulsions. It’s self-preservation function of the ego due to scar tissue from generational and childhood wounds often works overtime, perceiving negatively: “I am not safe” and “I am not okay”, keeps creating maladaptive responses, which we call Hardwires.

There are 16 Hardwires, divided into 3 categories: secondary tertiary and primary. Secondary Hardwires are the existing acute hardwires that drive our thoughts, reasoning, actions and behaviour in a warped direction, derailing them from their highest level of being human. Tertiary Hardwires are problematic chronic hardwires that, already weakened our volition of not only in the mind, but also in our body. Primary Hardwires are the primary cause of the above hardwires. The foremost primary hardwires is UP(unconducive parenting), parents’ irresponsibility towards nurturing, transferring limiting beliefs, parenting style, lack of boundary management resulting in verbal, physical, sexual, digital and emotional abuse. Hardwires negatively affect Volition (free will to act) and distort reality. It contaminates the soul and blocks a person from moving from A (dependency) to B (Dignity).

Life transforming action

The challenger needs to ensure that the responder do the following before entering an ecosystem:

  1. A hardwire assessment.
  2. A hardwire assessment interpretation with the responder
  3. Responder does a Hardwire reflection
  4. Challenger does a feedback session with responder on the responder’s reflection.
  5. Determining the current OI level of the responder
  6. Align the responder with an appropriate task-man-fit in the corresponding ecosystem.    and coaching period with the responder
